| March 2nd & 3rd, 2012- Winter Carnival at Red Lodge Mountain Resort. Locals & visitors join in costume to race their homemade cardboard creations down the hill. Along with the cardboard classics race there will be live music, custom contests, and a jalapeno eating contest. There will also be events in town that you won't want to miss out on!

| March 9th-11th, 2012 - National Finals Ski-Joring - This is a Western sport that teams up skiers and cowboys for some entertaining competition. The team must work together to navigate a course of slalom jumps & gates at high speeds. The ski-joring event is a must see for all, don't miss out on this unique opportunity.

| June 2012- Red Lodge Music Festival - This festival is the oldest one in Montana, attracting over 200 students annually, which include students from universities and symphony orchestras from across the nation. It began in 1964 as a week long camp and throughout the years has emerged into a 9 day music festival. There will be 5 evening faculty concerts, 2 evening student recitals, and afternoon band/orchestra performances .

| TBA 2012 - Peaks to Prairie Adventure Race - This race involves running, boating, & cycling. It opens up with an 8.8 run in the Beartooth Mountains, then a 43 mile bike ride from ranch country to Riverside Park, and finally a 22 mile boat ride to finish up at Coulson Park in Billings, MT. Watch the endurance of these athletes or challenge yourself to participate.

The 83rd Home of Champions Rodeo features rodeo's leading cowboys & cowgirls. A Parade is held everyday at noon in historic downtown Red Lodge.

July 2012- Montana State Old Time Fiddle Contest. For over 40 years, the Fiddler Association has educated & supported old time fiddling. This event brings together fiddlers' to test their skills amongst each other, jam, & to hear some of the finest musicians in our area. This event is held at Roosevelt School, which is located right across the street from the Yodeler Motel.

| July 2012 - Cruising Red Lodge - Register at Bonedaddy's Custom Cycle from 5-9 pm on friday for this event. Car show begins at 8am on Saturday with the judging from 10am-1pm and the awards at 4pm. Come show us your cruiser and check out the other classics!

| August 2012- 44th Annual Beartooth Run & Ride.
This is one of the oldest runs in the state . There is a 4.2 & 8.4 mile run which starts at the foot of the Beartooth Pass and ending at Vista Point. This is a challenging run with over 2,000 vertical feet of ascention in the 8 mile course. The next day there will be a 20 mile bike ride that ends at the Montana Wyoming state line.
